Beach Erosion Control Project
Loch Arbor to Deal, NJThis U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District project included the placement of 1,400,000 cubic yards of sand for initial construction of the Loch Arbour - Deal shoreline, along with modification to existing storm water outfalls and modification of two existing groins. All beachfill operations were conducted by the prime contractor Manson Construction. Manson subcontracted Agate Construction to complete all of the hard feature work on the project. Agate also constructed timber access stairs at Deal Casino, two scour holes along the existing rock seawall and notched two existing groins as a part of this project.
