Drawbridge Preventive Maintenance Contract
Statewide, NJWork under this Contract includes infrastructure, mechanical & electrical work on 7 of the State’s bridges in locations throughout Southern New Jersey. The infrastructure work to be performed consists of the repair of bridge headers, joints, deteriorated concrete deck, curb, sidewalk, application of corrosion inhibitor, traffic line re-striping, substructure repairs, and installation/re-installation of flexible delineators on the bridge superstructure.
The mechanical and electrical work consists of cleaning & lubricating of lift cables and sheaves, servicing and lubrication of span locks, servicing of warning gongs, warning gates, barrier gates, junction boxes, span motors, power distribution transformers, machine & motor brakes, louver assemblies and control system cabinetry.
