NYS&W Bridge Rehab

This project consists of the complete replacement of existing NYS&W Bridge 13.31 substructure below the girders. Eleven bents consisting of four open ended 18” concrete filled pipe piles connected by 2 levels of permanent struts were installed. These bents support the new cap girders and floor beams that will carry the load of the existing simple span girders that will not be replaced. A single bent consisting of three open ended 24” concrete filled pipe piles was also installed to support the existing swing span.
