Roseann Avenue Roadway and Utility Improvements

Agate Construction provided the low bid to replace 1,770 linear feet of 66” x 51” corrugated steel arch pipe in Lower Township, Cape May New Jersey, as well as install a storm water pump station at the end of the line. The project includes improvements to the storm water conveyance system and inlet structures, full roadway reconstruction including asphalt, curb, sidewalk, driveway, landscaping, and a pump station featuring precast concrete, twin submersible pumps, a sheet pile cofferdam, 60” ductile iron pipe, a natural gas generator, load bank, and variable drive control systems. Agate is currently preparing to mobilize, with in house design plans for the shoring of the pump station excavation, bypass pumping system to mitigate interim flooding, and dewatering to open the 10’ wide pipe trench upwards of 7’ below the water table. We are excited to be a part of the solution for this neighborhood’s storm water management.
